It is the policy of the School to comply with all laws and regulations governing the use of school property, facilities and equipment. Private use of school property, facilities, and equipment for personal gain is prohibited.
The following guidelines shall govern the use of school properties, facilities and equipment:
- School property and facilities shall not be made available for use by individuals or organizations outside the school system except as specified, for Other Than School Use, which govern non-school use of playing fields, auditoriums, gymnasiums, classrooms, etc.
- School and District equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and other technical equipment, shall be operated only by authorized personnel for education-related purposes.
- Students are expected to use the school’s computer equipment and video equipment both responsibly and productively. Students must have a staff member’s permission before touching or operating a computer, before using any specific software, before uploading or downloading anything before visiting websites, and before using email. Only appropriate websites and email messages are allowed. They must access only those files that they have created or that have been created for their use. Rules and guidelines regarding the operation of school computers will be detailed in the computer lab. Parents must sign a permission sheet in order for students to access the Internet through school computers.
- All the to and fro communication for the students shall be governed by the principal of the school or any person so authorized for. Following rules are prescribed for all the students without an exception:
- Students are hereby advised to follow the rules and regulations given below for a better academic session and peaceful living in the campus.
- All the students should converse only in English in and around the school campus to enhance their skill and fluency in the language.
- Students are advised not to bring costly articles. The school will not be responsible for its loss if any.
- Students are advised not to keep and Gold ornaments or electronic items like walkman, transistor, camera, cell phone etc.
- Students are not supposed to keep money with them. If money is brought, it should be deposited at the school office.
- Students are responsible for their belongings, while the school hold no responsibility of the loss of any article.
- Any students found guilty of theft will be punished.
- Students must attend the classes with clean, tidy and in full uniform.
- Students suffering from contagious disease will not be permitted to attend the classes.
- Any students absent to class must submit the leave letter to the class teacher when he/she joins the school after the leave.
- Long leave should be taken only after obtaining prior permission from the principal.
- If a student is absent for more than a month without information, his / her name will be struck off from the roll.
- If a student falls short of attendance as prescribed by the BVB, he / she shall not be eligible for promotion to the next higher class.
- Students are not allowed to present gifts to the teacher.
- No student is permitted to bring books, magazines etc., to the class rooms.
- No student is permitted to leave the class room without the permission of the teacher.
- No student should stay back in any other area except the classrooms during school hours, unless prior permission taken.
- All the midterm tests and examinations should be attended by the students.
- Frequent absence for the examination will affect the promotion to the next higher class.
- Every student must take part in the school games unless physically unfit and specially permitted by the principal.
- No student is allowed to leave the Campus without prior permission.
- Any damage caused to the library books, lab equipment shall be borne by the student responsible for the damage.
- Any damage to the student outside the campus that will bring bad name to the reputation of the school will result in immediate dismissal of the student from the school.
- Any kind of disrespects to the teachers of the school authorities and dishonesty to the school, either inside or outside the school premises will be dealt with seriously.
